She has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research of photodamaged dermatology for 37 years. She has invented 7 new technologies including sclerotherapy of chronic actinic dermatitis, and edited the Chinese and English version of Chinese Expert Consensus on Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Melasma and the third series of Essence of Difficult Cases in Dermatology. She has presided over 12 key join projects of the National Foundation and special major projects of Yunnan Province, published more than 300 papers in Nature Communications, JID and other journals around the prevention and treatment of photodamaged dermatoses, edited and published 10 monographs and textbooks, presided over and participated in the formulation of 10 guidelines and expert consensus and led the formulation of 6 industry evaluation standards for efficacious skin care products.
She has been awarded the Special Prize and First Prize of Science and Technology Progress, the First Prize of Yunnan Provincial Innovation Team, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Regional Innovation Award, and has been awarded the National Model Worker, the Top Ten National Models of Teaching and Education, the National Famous Doctor, and the Xing Dian Talents.
She has trained six talents from the following programs, including the Young and Middle-aged Academic Technology Leader Program in Yunnan Province, Yunling Famous Doctor Program, Ten Thousand People Program, led the team to become the innovation team of the Ministry of Education, and it was selected as the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborative Innovation Center of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education Co-construction Collaborative Innovation Center, Yunnan Clinical Medical Center, etc., leading the prevention and treatment of phototraumatic skin diseases in China.
